Read a book. Ms Jean and Mr Gareth are strong advocates for reading and they have a very good reason. A good book provides a fun escape and makes the days shorter. Check out Mr Gareth´s recommendations. If you´re not a big reader, why not try an audiobook instead?
Bake something. Mrs Gubbins will tell you that baking is not only relaxing, but delicious. Try Mrs Gubbin´s recipe here or Esther´s crepe recipe on Instagram. You´ll be the most popular member of your family.
Clean out your room and your wardrobe. Mr Gavin can give you tips on this. He has the most beautifully organised locker in the staffroom. Pack anything you don´t need anymore in a bag for charity. Or you could try and upcycle them. Maria Ángeles is an expert at all things sewing related.
Just Dance. Need I say more? I´m sure Miryam is bopping around her house right now.
Start a blog/vlog. Tell the world your isolation story. Look here for tips.
Write a diary. A more private blog. Include sketches, poems and observations. You will read back on it in 20 years and marvel at your creativity.
Make a photo album. Collect all the photos from SEK Dublin that make you smile and put them in a video collection using Google Photos or any other photo suite. Share it with your friends to cheer them up. Send it Romi and she can put in on the school Instagram.
Exercise Check out James´exercise tips on this website. He loves exercising.
Learn chess. Join chess.com and play against Mr James and your friends. Chess is excellent for your brain.
Draw, Paint, Sketch. Time to get creative. Mr Lacey will agree that art is fantastic therapy. You could create birthday cards for friends and family. Or alternatively, try colouring instead.
Call your family and friends. Now is a really good time to reach out and contact people. Particularly older family members who may feel bored or lonely.
Do Yoga. Yoga is a great way to stretch out after a day slouched in front of the computer, looking at Ultan or Mrs McKey. Here is a good routine for neck and shoulders.
Meditate. Now is a perfect time to try. Apps such as Headspace and Calm are excellent for this.
Watch a movie. Set up a Netflix Party to watch it with your friends. Or invite Don Emilio and Ms Jenny. To keep up your language skills, why not try a movie in another language? Check out Miryam´s German Movie Suggestions.
