Tips for online learning.





Online learning can be exhausting. This is mainly because we end up sitting for long periods of time, staring at a screen.


Here are some tips to help make online learning a bit easier:


  1. Try to have a designated "work area". Keep it tidy and organised.

  2. Your "work area" should have: your timetable, your agenda, pens etc, your water bottle (and any other materials you need for class)

  3. If you are in a noisy area, use your headphones/earphones to limit distraction. Listen to classical or "brain" music to get yourself in the zone

  4. Keep your phone on airplane mode. Or better yet, keep it in another room.

  5. Between classes, get up and move. Do some stretches, walk around, get fresh air, drink water or do a set of jumping jacks to energise yourself.

  6. Keep note of any tasks you need to do in your agenda.

  7. Use independent lessons wisely. Use the Pomodoro technique to keep you focused on one task at a time.

  8. Take 5 minutes at the end of the day to look at your agenda and plan for the next day.
